Keurig Coffee Makers
Keurig, Incorporated was founded in 1993 to offer consumers a one cup at a time coffee experience. The word "keurig" is a derivative from the Dutch word for excellence. Keurig offers gourmet brands of tea and coffee and hot cocoa packaged in K-Cup® portion packs. It has a unique and patented single-cup brewing system which is very popular in North America. Keurig coffee makers are available in various models and are segregated in the category of At Home Brewers, At Work Brewers and Hotel Brewers.
Keurig At Home Brewers include the Keurig Special Edition B60 Coffee Maker, the Keurig Elite B40 Coffee Maker, and the Keurig Platinum B70 Coffee Maker. These Keurig coffee makers are priced from $99.95 to $199.95. The B40 Keurig Coffee Maker is their most basic home brewer model and it offers 2 brewing sizes, auto-off function and removable water reservoir. The B60 Keurig Coffee Maker offers three brewing sizes, backlit programmable LCD screen and removable water reservoir. The B70 Keurig Coffee Maker is their most sophisticated home coffee maker and it offers four brewing sizes, backlit programmable LCD screen and removable water reservoir along with Quiet Brew™ Technology for a noiseless coffee making experience.
Keurig At Work Brewers are the Keurig B3000 Coffee Maker, the Keurig B200 Coffee Maker and the Keurig B140 Coffee Maker. Offices need to contact Keurig’s al brewing systems direct to offices. We have a network of “Gold Standard” Keurig Authorized Distributors for pricing information. These models essentially offer water filtration, use of travel mug, removable drip tray for cleaning, multiple brew sizes, and diagnostic lights/message. Barring the B140, the other two models are vending compatible. In the B3000 model, the water source id plumbed only, the B200 has both plumbed and pour over options and the B140 has only pour over option. Only the B3000 has automatic K-Cup ejection and storage and a separate hot water spigot. LCD interface and UL approval are available with both B3000 and B200 Keurig coffee makers.
Keurig coffee makers are also available for hotels. Hotel management can place the Keurig B130 In-Room Hotel Brewing System in their guests’ rooms to offer them a home-like experience.
Keurig offers K-Cups® potion packs that can be either:
- • transferred in a cup and then boiled water from Keurig coffee makers is poured over it; or
- • the K-Cups® can be inserted in certain models of Keurig coffee maker
The K-Cups® are available for coffee, tea and hot cocoa in various brands and types. Some of the brands available are Variety Packs, Bellaccino Coffee, Caribou Coffee, Diedrich, Emeril's, Gloria Jean's, Green Mountain, Coffee Roasters, Newman's Own Timothy's, Tully's and Van Houtte.
